The UN80 process is closely followed and all want it well connected with the review of FAO and its synergies with the other Rome-based agencies. 10 years after the Paris Agreement was signed and a few weeks ahead of COP30 in Belém/Brazil, the EU's common commitment was reiterated to address climate change as one of the root causes of hunger and food insecurity in the world. Solidarity was also expressed with the colleagues from Poland, Romania and Estonia after the unacceptable violations of their airspace by Russia.
