Murder-Suicide Results in Deaths of Two Men on Graceland Drive
Gunfire late Saturday afternoon at a home on Graceland Drive in the Madison Precinct resulted in the domestic-related murder-suicide deaths of two men who both lived at the residence.
The investigation by the MNPD Homicide Unit shows that Stephen Slater, 74, shot his stepson, John D. Norman, 49, before shooting himself. Slater's wife telephoned 911. First responders found Slater dead at the scene. Norman was transported to Skyline Medical Center where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
