EXTENDED: Overnight lane and ramp closures on I-49 near MO-150 for pavement work, TONIGHT

JACKSON COUNTY - The Missouri Department of Transportation will conduct overnight lane and ramp closures on Interstate 49 near Missouri Route 150 for pavement work. All work is weather permitting. See below for traffic modifications:

EXTENDED: Approximately 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. nightly from Monday, May 4 until Thursday, May 7 (revised from May 6)

  • Crews will conduct lane closures on southbound I-49 between MO-150 and 155th St.
  • Crews will close the ramp on eastbound MO-150 to I-49 southbound
  • Crews will close the turn lane on MO-150 to the ramp to southbound I-49

Motorists are reminded to slow down and pay attention while driving in work zones. Not all work zones look alike. Work zones can also be short-term, temporary lane closures to make quick repairs or remove debris from the roadway.
