Best thing about Longwood?

I like that it is a smaller school with small class sizes. All of my professors knew who I was and were super helpful. To me, that sets Longwood apart from many universities.

One professor or staff member who you couldn't have done it without?

Dr. Brandon Jackson and Dr. Consuelo Alvarez in the biology department.

One unforgettable experience you had at Longwood?

I went to Thailand on a pre-vet study abroad trip. We spent a week in an animal shelter and another week at an elephant sanctuary.

Longwood in three words?

Impactful. Enlightening. Challenging.

I am ready for career success because…

Longwood provided the education and the mentorship I needed to succeed. Admission to vet school is highly competitive, but Longwood equipped me with the resources and support to achieve my goals.
