Revenue Jersey is reminding Islanders that there is now one month remaining to submit their paper 2025 personal tax returns.
With the 31 May deadline fast approaching, Islanders are encouraged to complete and return their paper tax forms as soon as possible to avoid last minute pressure and reduce the risk of late filing penalties, which increase over time.
So far, 30,000 Islanders have filed, with an even split of 15,000 paper tax returns and the same number completed online.
Choosing to act early ensures their tax affairs are up to date and filing promptly also allows ITIS rates to be reviewed and adjusted in good time, helping taxpayers better manage their payments over the year.
Islanders who intend to file online still have more time, with the online filing deadline of 31 July, but are encouraged to prepare early. Those new to online filing should ensure their onegov account is activated and their digital ID verified, as this can take time to complete.
Support is available through step by step online guidance, short instructional videos, and telephone assistance to help with both filing tax returns and setting up onegov accounts.
