DZUG Conducted Pre-Holiday Comprehensive Work Safety Inspection

To ensure work safety efforts are thorough, detailed, and effective, to rigorously prevent various safety risks, and to guarantee the stable and orderly operation of the Group during the Spring Festival holiday, the working group of the Group's Safety Committee conducted an extensive pre-holiday work safety inspection on February 10th. The inspection targeted key areas and critical locations of enterprises based in Shanghai, employing strict standards and practical measures to build a solid safety defense for the holiday period.

In the morning, Mr. Wang Baoping, executive director of the Group and head of the work safety leading group, led a team to Dazhong Gas Pipeline Engineering Company. A special seminar was organized there, focusing on the specific requirements for renovaging old gas pipeline networks and addressing core safety risks during the construction process. During the meeting, Mr. Wang emphasized: First, proceed with the renovation of old pipeline networks with safety as the foremost priority, strictly control each phase of the construction process to ensure safety, and strive to create high-quality, exemplary projects to solidify the safety foundation; Second, cultivate a tiered employee system supported by talent development, focusing on rejuvenating the workforce, actively recruiting young talents, and prioritizing the cultivation of young cores to continuously enhance the team's professional competence and innovative vitality; Third, leverage transformation as a driver to promote the gas industry's development towards integrated energy, continuously increase the proportion of integrated energy in the city's gas supply, and strengthen the enterprise's core competitiveness. Concluding the meeting, Mr. Wang demanded strict implementation of the primary responsibility for work safety, enhancement of safety warning education for employees, improvement of emergency response procedures for gas construction and leakage incidents, and regular conduct of emergency drills to resolutely prevent gas safety accidents and effectively safeguard gas safety.

Subsequently, the inspection team proceeded to the Dongge Road charging station and warehouse of Dazhong Logistics for a safety check. Mr. Zhang Rongzheng, Vice President of the Group, along with the management team of Dazhong Logistics, participated in the inspection. The team meticulously examined key electrical components at the charging station, including distribution boxes, grounding devices, and leakage protection systems, checking for hazards such as exposed wires or leakage. They also conducted a one-by-one verification of the station's fire-fighting facilities and safety warning signs to ensure fire extinguishers and other equipment were in good condition, properly placed, and that emergency exits were unobstructed.

Concluding the inspection, the inspection team delved into the cargo warehouse, conducting a detailed investigation focusing on critical aspects such as goods category management, fire-fighting equipment, and electrical safety. The team conducted a comprehensive review of the rectification status of hazards identified in previous inspections. Against the list of previous hazards, they verified the implementation progress and effectiveness of corrective measures one by one. For hazards that had been rectified, they conducted on-site inspections to confirm whether safety standards were met and whether a long-term prevention and control mechanism had been established. For hazards not rectified within the set timeframe, they inquired in detail about the reasons for the delay, urged the responsible units on-site to refine corrective plans, consolidate rectification responsibilities, and clarify the timeline for completion, ensuring all hazards are addressed and closed out.

This pre-holiday work safety inspection further reinforced the primary responsibility for work safety across all units, refined safety prevention measures, and effectively enhanced the Group's work safety prevention and control capabilities. Concurrently, other subsidiaries of the Group, based on the characteristics of their respective business areas, carried out various forms of pre-holiday safety hazard investigations and rectification work. This created a positive safety management pattern with coordinated efforts from all levels, collectively building a strong line of defense for the Group's work safety during the Spring Festival holiday and ensuring that all customers and employees enjoy a safe, peaceful, and joyful Chinese New Year.
