SJSU Athletes Set Record-Setting Academic Performances in Spring 2026

San José State University Athletics is proud to announce the academic results for the spring 2026 semester. The Spartans posted a collective 3.272 semester GPA, surpassing the 3.270 mark set in fall 2025.

Academic Highlights: Spring 2026

The Spartans saw improvements across the board compared to the previous semester. Key highlights from the academic summary include:

• Spring 2026 Semester GPA (All Teams): 3.272 (surpassing fall 2025's 3.270 GPA)
• SJSU Cumulative GPA (All Teams): 3.289 (Surpassing fall 2025's 3.285 GPA)
• 16 of 20 teams posted a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher
• 17 of 20 teams have a SJSU cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• 288 Students (69%) earned a semester GPA of 3.0 or higher
• 293 Students (70%) earned a SJSU cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
• 44 Students (11%) achieved a 4.0 GPA

A Community of Support

These achievements are made possible through the collaboration of the coaching staff and the specialized support provided by the Student-Athlete Resource Center (SARC).

"I want to take a moment to celebrate our incredible SARC Staff," said SJSU Managing Director of SARC De'Ron Jasper. "The energy, commitment and care they bring to work everyday is truly remarkable. They do so much more than provide academic support; they build relationships, serve as trusted listeners, help students navigate challenges, collaborate with departments across campus and create a welcoming environment where our student-athletes feel supported and valued."
