Broome County Highway Work Planned for Week of 6/30
(BROOME COUNTY, NY) - The following work is schedule on Broome County roadways beginning Monday, June 30th.
- Ditch cleaning on North Sanford Road, Brady Hill Road, East Windsor Road, Broome County Airport Road & Farm to Market Road
- Grader patching on Trim Street
- Pavement work on Killawog Hill Road
- Culvert work on Farm to Market Road & Killawog Hill Road
- Mowing right of way on several county roads
- Painting county roadways & sign repairs on various county roads
Motorists are reminded to use caution in work zones, even when they are not active as some may be modified as constructions progresses. Slowing down is always the most effective way to keep yourself and workers safe. You may also want to give yourself extra time during commutes to accommodate for any detours or change in traffic patterns.
