Sylvan Esso & Psychic Hotline Announce Good Moon Festival 2026, October 8th-10th in Durham, NC

DURHAM, NC - MAY 12, 2026 : Today, Sylvan Esso and Psychic Hotlineannounce the return of Good Moon. After a year away, the biennial festival enters a new phase from October 8th-10th, 2026, taking over four venues throughout their hometown of downtown Durham, NC, and anchored by three nights of music at Durham Performing Arts Center (DPAC): two shows headlined by Sylvan Esso, one headlined by Tyler Childers, with very special guests including Meshell Ndegeocello, aja monet and Silvana Estrada.

Following each DPAC performance, additional shows and afterparties will be hosted at The Pinhook, Bay 7 and Boom Club presented with NO VISA, with sets from a vast array of artists, friends and collaborators spanning Rodrigo Amarante, Leenalchi, Tash LC, William Tyler & Yasmin Williams, Jacques Greene, Annie & the Caldwells, Circuit des Yeux, Kumo 99, Derrick Gee's "Radio Hour,"GRRL x Made of Oak, Weirs, Babe Haven and Hex Files.

Also part of this year's Good Moon lineup is a free daytime concert at the Amphitheater at American Tobacco Campus on October 10th, featuring MJ Lenderman and Woke County Speedway, as well as the North Carolina debut of William Tyler's Time Indefinite music film.

For access to every Good Moon event, a limited number of three-day, VIP passes will be available at 12pm ET this Friday, May 15th. Presales open at 12pm ET on Thursday, May 14th for Good Moon email subscribers. Remaining single-night tickets will begin to roll out on Friday, May 22nd. Launched in 2024 at Durham Bulls Athletic Park, Good Moon has grown into a centerpiece of the city's cultural landscape, offering a space for radical creativity from an ever-expanding musical community. "This Good Moon is our biggest and fullest yet, featuring so many of our favorite artists. It is a joy to bring them to our home in Durham, NC," says Sylvan Esso's Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn, co-founders of Psychic Hotline.

Ahead of Good Moon, Sylvan Esso will also host a sold-out, week-long residency at Los Angeles' Sid the Cat Auditorium from June 15th-20th, where they will rehearse with a live band and share new songs, inviting attendees to learn together and have a good time.
