The City of Pompano Beach and Shipwreck Park have canceled the scheduled installation event for the "Reef Rider" sculpture due to inclement weather and unsafe ocean conditions offshore.

The event, which was scheduled to include the transportation and underwater installation of the six-foot-tall seahorse sculpture at the Underwater Shipwreck Park surrounding the Lady Luck wreck site, has been postponed in the interest of public and all participating crews, divers, artists, and media representatives' safety.

A new installation date will be announced.
