Meet the Doctor: Dr. Singh, Livewell Animal Hospital

Dr. Singh is thrilled to be back home serving the community where he grew up. A Broomall native and graduate of Friends' Central School on the Main Line, he has always felt a strong connection to this area and is excited to care for the pets and families who call it home.

After high school, Dr. Singh attended the University of Delaware, where he earned a degree in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Medical Humanities. During his time there, he stayed busy both inside and outside the classroom as a member of the Club Tennis Team, a Resident Assistant, and an active participant in a pre-medical professional fraternity.

Following graduation, Dr. Singh headed west to Los Angeles, where his passion for veterinary medicine truly took off. He volunteered with The Nature of Wildworks and the California Wildlife Center while working at a small animal veterinary hospital. Those experiences introduced him to an incredible variety of animals and environments. One day, he might be helping rescue and rehabilitate marine mammals along the California coast; the next, enriching the lives of big cats or caring for beloved family pets in a veterinary clinic.

Those formative years gave Dr. Singh a deep appreciation for the many ways veterinarians can make a difference and reinforced his desire to serve both animals and the people who love them.

Dr. Singh earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the University of California, Davis in 2023. Since then, he has been practicing companion animal medicine, caring for dogs and cats while building meaningful relationships with their families. In the fall of 2025, he returned to the Philadelphia area to be closer to his family and couldn't be happier to have made his way back to the Main Line.

What Dr. Singh loves most about general practice is the opportunity to see a little bit of everything and to grow alongside his patients throughout their lives. From wellness visits and preventive care to diagnosing illnesses and helping pets feel their best, he enjoys being a trusted resource for pet owners. His favorite areas of veterinary medicine are dentistry and ophthalmology, where he enjoys combining problem-solving with hands-on patient care.

When he's not at the clinic, you'll likely find Dr. Singh staying active. He enjoys playing tennis, soccer, and golf, cycling, hiking with his dog Rio, and spending time with friends over a good board game. He loves getting to know the people and pets in the community and believes veterinary care is at its best when it feels personal.
