Plymouth, N.H. (April 29, 2026) - The Plymouth State University Student Support Foundation (SSF) and Academic and Career Advising Center recently marked the grand opening of PSU's Career Closet, a donation-based program that provides students access to a wide variety of business casual clothing at no cost, with a ribbon cutting event. Career Closet items are appropriate for professional occasions such as job interviews, career fairs and corporate events.
"Launching the Career Closet has been a great way for the community to come together to help each other," said PSU Student Support Foundation President Matthew Barlow. "We've had fun transforming the space, and we're excited to open and begin offering free business attire to any student who needs it, whether for a job interview, internship, or a first job."
The Career Closet is currently accepting donations of men's and women's blazers and jackets, dress pants, professional dresses and skirts, button-down shirts, sweaters and cardigans, suits and matching sets, professional shoes and accessories (belts, ties, professional bags). All donations are asked to be clean and free of any stains, rips or tears.
Clothing donations must be scheduled prior to drop-off; appointments are available Monday through Friday. Anyone interested in scheduling a donation appointment may email [email protected] or call 603-535-3065.
