BOSTON - Dec. 5, 2025 - Alison T. Holdway, a Litigation shareholder in global law firm Greenberg Traurig, LLP's Boston office, presented at the Massachusetts Continuing Legal Education (MCLE) program, "LLC Liability & Piercing the Corporate Veil," Dec. 2. Holdway discussed the factors that Delaware courts consider in determining whether to pierce the corporate veil - which is when, in exceptional circumstances, a court disregards the corporate form to hold a company's owners liable for the company's debts or conduct because the owners misused the corporate entity - and closely examined recent Delaware cases addressing veil piercing.
The recorded program will be rebroadcast from 9-11 a.m. Dec. 17 and 2-4 p.m. Dec. 29. Attendees can register in advance on MCLE's website.
