Governor Ayotte Joins State Employees, National Guard for Operation Santa Claus

CONCORD, NH - Today, Governor Kelly Ayotte joined the State Employees Association (SEA/SEIU Local 1984), the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS), and the New Hampshire National Guard to kick off deliveries for Operation Santa Claus.

For the past 66 years, the SEA, DHHS, and the National Guard have teamed up to deliver gifts to children in need who would otherwise go without presents during the holiday season. Gift donations come from state employees, local businesses, and schools.

Governor Ayotte, SEA/SEIU Local 1984 President Rich Gulla, DHHS Commissioner Lori Weaver, and Maj. Gen. David J. Mikolaities helped load the trucks that will deliver gifts to children across New Hampshire with members of the National Guard and SEA volunteers this morning.
