Ingram Library Services and Penguin Random House Expand Access for Libraries Through New Print-on-Demand Program

Nashville, TN - [June 23, 2026] - Ingram Library Services (ILS), a division of Ingram Content Group, today announced a new program developed in partnership with Penguin Random House to help libraries access high-demand titles with greater speed, flexibility, and reliability.

The program will start with 200 backlist titles from Penguin Random House's extensive catalog by leading authors, including Harlan Coben, Janet Evanovich, Lisa Gardner, Yaa Gyasi, Paula Hawkins, Debbie Macomber, Anne Perry, Nalini Singh, and Gary Shteyngart. The initiative, powered by Ingram's industry-leading print-on-demand network, is designed to support libraries facing increased patron demand, unpredictable supply chain pressures, and the need for more resilient collection-development options.

"Libraries rely on us to deliver stability, scale, and solutions that keep their collections engaging," said Carolyn Morris, Vice President, Ingram Library Services. "This program gives libraries another dependable path to the titles their communities want most. We're proud to partner with Penguin Random House to make that possible."

Through the new program, participating Penguin Random House titles will be available to libraries via Ingram's established ordering workflows, with POD copies produced and shipped through Ingram's global manufacturing network. This ensures consistent availability, predictable turnaround times, and the same high-quality standards libraries expect from both organizations.

"Libraries are essential to discovery, literacy, and access," said Skip Dye, Senior Vice President of Library Sales and Digital Strategy, Sales Operations at Penguin Random House. "By working with Ingram to expand availability of our backlist catalog, we're strengthening the supply chain libraries depend on and ensuring readers can continue to find the books they love."

The program reflects a shared commitment between Ingram and Penguin Random House to support libraries with innovative, sustainable solutions that align with the realities of today's market. The first batch of titles will be available ahead of the upcoming American Library Association Annual Conference & Exhibition.
