The Future is Data Conference, organised by the Polish Presidency of the Council of the European Union in Lodz, aimed to bring together key stakeholders in data, such as government and local administrations, NGOs, entrepreneurs and researchers.

At the conference, Roberto Viola, the Director-General of the Directorate-General for Communication Networks, Content and Technology, European Commission, addressed the participants and talked about the European Commission's upcoming Data Union Strategy.
