Stafford County is inviting residents to help shape the community's future by participating in an upcoming public survey open from April 15 through April 27, 2026. Feedback gathered during this survey will play a key role in updating the County's Comprehensive Plan.
Virginia law requires counties to review their Comprehensive Plans at least once every five years. Stafford's current plan, last updated in 2021, is now being revised to reflect the needs and priorities of today's residents and future generations.

The Comprehensive Plan is one of Stafford County's most important guiding documents. It establishes a long-term vision for growth and development, helping determine:
