Glimmer Then Gone
Ballet Papillon brings Glimmer Then Gone - Constellations of the Past, to Lewisville Grand Theater, 100 N. Charles Street, on Saturday, Nov. 8, at 7 p.m.
Attendees will be immersed in the recollection of transformative life experiences. Inspired by personal stories and momentous memories, as the artists use the modality of ballet to reveal the precious scars imprinted on their hearts. Aimed to bring healing from broken relationships, grief, and the transience of life, Glimmer Then Gone promises to portray the twists and turns of life and how one recovers from traumas of the past.
Tickets are available at balletpapillon.org. Prices are $40 General Admission, $30 Senior/Military, and $25 Student. A live stream is available on balletpapillon.org with a ticket price of $20.
The Grand is Lewisville's home for the arts. It presents a variety of regional and national touring performers, art exhibits, and classes, while also giving the many arts groups in the greater Lewisville area a facility to perform and display their works. Its multiple performance spaces play host to a variety of events including live music, theater, dance performances, comedy shows, and more. The center features the 294-seat Huffines Performance Hall, black box theater, recital hall, art gallery, and courtyard.
To reach The Grand from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. The Grand will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Church streets, or at Lewisville City Hall across Church Street from the center. Please be aware that there is heavy road construction at the Main Street interchange with I-35E that will cause delays.
