Silversmith Capital Partners, a growth equity firm focused on partnering with and supporting the best entrepreneurs in technology and healthcare, is pleased to announce the promotions of seven team members across its Investment and Finance and Operations teams. These individuals have made significant contributions to the firm and its mission of identifying and supporting exceptional entrepreneurs.

Investment Team Promotions

Tod Pesses, Principal

Tod joined Silversmith in 2023, focusing on investments in Healthcare IT and Services. Before joining Silversmith, Tod was Vice President and Head of Mergers and Acquisitions at McKesson. Previously, Tod held progressively senior roles in middle-market, value-focused private equity, most notably at Huron Capital Partners. He began his career in the Corporate Strategy and Mergers & Acquisitions department at CareFusion Corporation. Tod holds a BA in Economics from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.

Conor Finn, Vice President

Conor joined Silversmith in 2019 and focuses on investments in SaaS & Information Services. Conor graduated from Harvard College with an AB in Government and a secondary in Psychology.

John O'Connor, Vice President

John joined Silversmith in 2023 and focuses on investments in SaaS & Information Services. Prior to Silversmith, John was an Investor in the Technology Group at TA Associates and an Investment Banker at J.P. Morgan. John graduated from the D'Amore-McKim School of Business at Northeastern University with a BS in Finance and Entrepreneurship.

Jerry Jacobs, Senior Associate

Jerry joined Silversmith in 2023 and focuses on investments in SaaS & Information Services. Prior to Silversmith, Jerry was an Associate at AGC Partners and a Financial Analyst for IQvestment Holdings. Jerry graduated from Bentley University with a BS in Finance.

Becca Gilmore, Associate

Becca joined Silversmith in 2022 and focuses on investments in Healthcare IT & Services. Prior to Silversmith, Becca worked as a spring analyst at Cowen and a fall analyst at AGC Partners. Becca graduated from Harvard College with a BA in Economics.

Finance and Operations Team Promotions

Steve Ellis, Vice President of Finance

Steve joined Silversmith in 2022 and helps oversee the financial operations for the firm. Prior to Silversmith, he worked as a Finance Manager at Summit Partners and in the Financial Services practice at Ernst & Young. Steve is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts. Steve graduated from the University of Massachusetts Isenberg School of Management with a BBA in Accounting & Information Services.

Nicole Genzardi, Senior Tax Manager

Nicole joined Silversmith in 2021 and focuses on the daily finance and tax functions of the Firm. Prior to Silversmith, she was a Senior Tax Associate at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their Asset Management Practice working primarily on alternative investments. Nicole is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Massachusetts. Nicole graduated from the University of Rhode Island with a MS and BS in Accounting.
