Author Liana Cincotti to Host Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony and Book Signing at the Grand Opening at 9AM on Wednesday, October 21^st, 2026

Littleton, MA - October 14^th, 2026 -Barnes & Noble is pleased to announce the opening of a new bookstore in Littleton, MA on Wednesday, October 21^st. The Littleton Barnes & Noble is the first bookstore that sells new books to open in the town, which otherwise has the used bookstore, Valley Wild Books.

The new bookstore is located in a newly constructed building at The Point (350 Constitution Way, Littleton, MA 01460), next to TJ Maxx. The new Barnes & Noble extends to more than 19,500 square feet. Alongside the expansive curation of new books, the store carries the strong selection of toys, games, vinyl, magazines and gift items expected of the bookseller. The store also benefits from a Barnes & Noble Café. The design of the Littleton store showcases the ambition of Barnes & Noble to create exceptional local bookstores that marry the best traditions of independent bookselling with the resources of the historic chain.

The new Littleton Barnes & Noble bookstore will officially open to the public at 9AM eastern on Wednesday the 21^st, with local author Liana Cincotti cutting the ribbon and signing copies of her acclaimed book, A Summer of Stars. Costume Character Biscuit the Dog will also join the festivities and host special story time events over the weekend.

Barnes & Noble is enjoying a period of tremendous growth as the strategy to hand control of each bookstore to its local booksellers has proven so successful. The Littleton Barnes & Noble is one of 8 new stores that the bookseller is to open in October. Barnes & Noble expects to reach 60 openings during 2026, matching the number that it opened the previous year. The highly successful expansion program has boosted Barnes & Noble store numbers to over 730, having been below 600 stores as recently as 2023.

Barnes & Noble Premium and Rewards Members will earn double stamps on all purchases made between October 21^st and October 25^th. Customers who are not yet Members are encouraged to sign up and start earning stamps and rewards right away.

Everyone who visits the new Littleton Barnes & Noble during the grand opening will have access to exclusive deals, like $50 off any NOOK device. Customers can also save 40% on all DVD, Blu-ray, and 4k Ultra HD movies.
