44th Sitting of the Committee on Finance, State Budget and Control of Public Spending

The Committee members unanimously accepted the proposal of Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic to complete a joint debate on items 2 and 3 on the agenda.

The reports of the Working group tasked with ascertaining the compliance with requirements in the procedure of nomination of candidates for office in autonomous and independent state bodies and organisations elected by the National Assembly at public calls were presented by Working group Head Jasmina Palurovic who informed the Committee members that for the election of President and one member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures it had received four applications for President and five for member, of which one candidate dropped their application, so that four were considered. The Working group ascertained that all the applications were submitted on time, full and contained all required documentation. Also, for the election of one member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures it had received four applications which were timely, full and contained all required documentation as well.

The Committee members unanimously accepted the reports of the Working group.

The Committee proceeded to interview with the candidates for the election of President and one member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures - Irena Grujic, Zivko Marjanovic, Nadja Popovic and Hans Hukic, candidates for the election of President, and Živko Marjanovic, Jasmina Milenkovic, Aleksandra Popovic and Branislav Cvetkovice, candidates for the election of one member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures.

The Committee also interviewed the candidates for the election of one member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures - Irena Grujic, Zivko Marjanovic, Mersiha Markovic and Jasmina Milenkovic.

Following the interviews the Committee determined the Proposal of the Decision on the election of President and one member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, proposing that the National Assembly elects Irena Grujic President and Branislav Cvetkovic member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures.

The Committee members also determined the Proposal of the Decision on the election of one member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures, proposing that the National Assembly elects Zivko Marjanovic member of the Republic Commission for Protection of Rights in Public Procurement Procedures.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Veroljub Arsic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Zeljko Rebraca, Ilo Mihajlovski, Nenad Krstic, Jasmina Palurovic, Ana Beloica Martac, MA Svetlana Milijic, Tijana Davidovac, Branko Pavlovic, Vojislav Vujic and Mgr Akos Ujhelyi.
