On May 7, 2025, Deputy Foreign Ministers of Tajikistan Farrukh Sharifzoda and Iran Mohammadali Fathali met in Tehran.

During the meeting, the sides discussed bilateral relations and ways to expand cooperation. The parties emphasized the importance of continuing consultations between the two friendly countries.
