Rep. Dr. Arlene Beckles Celebrates Grand Opening of the Spot Sports Bar & Grill in House District 96

ATLANTA - State Representative Arlene Beckles (D-Norcross) celebrates the recent opening of The Spot Sports Bar & Grill, a new Black-owned business in House District 96 in Duluth.

"As a strong advocate for small businesses and economic opportunity, I am excited to welcome The Spot Sports Bar & Grill to House District 96," said Rep. Beckles. "Locally owned businesses are the backbone of our economy. They create jobs, generate investment, support neighboring businesses and strengthen the character of our communities. The opening of The Spot reflects the entrepreneurial spirit that continues to make Gwinnett County one of Georgia's most dynamic places to live, work and visit."

Located at 2125 Market Street in Duluth, Georgia, The Spot Sports Bar & Grill celebrated its grand opening on Thursday, July 3, in time for the holiday weekend and FIFA World Cup. The venue seeks to offer a vibrant atmosphere, food, entertainment and a community gathering space for residents and visitors alike.

Rep. Beckles notes that this new establishment seeks to contribute to the local economy by creating employment opportunities, increasing foot traffic for nearby businesses and expanding dining and entertainment options for residents throughout the area.

Representative Arlene Beckles represents the citizens of District 96, which includes a portion of Gwinnett County. She was first elected to the House of Representatives in 2024 and currently serves on the Special Rules, State Properties and Technology and Infrastructure Innovation committees.
