Safety Policy Study Earth Day Festival Pop-Up Event

The Bismarck-Mandan MPO is preparing a study to identify and categorize types of safety countermeasures to help guide future project selection and implementation. The Safety Policy Study will employ USDOT's Safe System Approach to reach a Vision Zero goal of eliminating or reducing severe injuries and deaths due to transportation-related crashes. This regional study includes the following jurisdictional partners: City of Bismarck, City of Mandan, City of Lincoln, Burleigh County, and Morton County.

The MPO will be collecting public input for the Safety Policy Study at the upcoming Bis-Man Earth Day Festival at the Bismarck Event Center (admission is free). Public input can also be provided in writing by May 31, 2025 to Luke Champa, SRF Consulting Group, 2370 Vermont Avenue, Bismarck, ND 58504 or through the project website:

The Bismarck-Mandan MPO will consider every request for reasonable accommodation to provide:
