AHN Cancer Institute Jefferson to Host Saturday Screening Clinic Offering Multiple Tests in One Visit

JEFFERSON HILLS, Pa. - Allegheny Health Network's Cancer Institute will host its monthly Saturday cancer screening clinic July 18 at AHN Cancer Institute - Jefferson, 575 Coal Valley Road, Suite 400, Jefferson Hills, PA 15025.

Designed for convenience, the clinic provides a one-stop option for patients to receive multiple cancer screenings in a single visit. Weekend hours offer greater flexibility for individuals who cannot attend weekday appointments, making it easier to prioritize preventive care.

The clinic is open to both AHN and non-AHN patients. Appointments are required and can be scheduled by calling 412-359-6665. Patients with or without insurance are encouraged to participate.

At 2025 screening events held at Jefferson, 156 patients received a total of 278 screenings, underscoring the continued demand for accessible, efficient screening options. Patients with abnormal results are advised to follow up with additional testing.

Available screenings include:

• Breast cancer (ages 40-74)
• Cervical cancer (ages 21-65)
• Colorectal cancer (ages 45-75)
• Head and neck cancers (ages 18+)
• Lung cancer (ages 50-80 with a history of cigarette smoking)
• Prostate cancer (ages 45-75)
• Skin cancer (ages 18+)

The AHN Cancer Institute has offered comprehensive cancer screening programs since 2014. In response to ongoing need across the region, the network has expanded its rotating Saturday clinics throughout western Pennsylvania over the past five years, increasing access to early detection services on a schedule that fits patients' lives.

For those unable to attend a Saturday clinic, AHN also offers comprehensive cancer screening appointments at West Penn Hospital, Jefferson Hospital, Forbes Hospital and the AHN North Fayette Health + Wellness Pavilion.
