The Honda Civic hybrid has earned the prestigious Edmunds Top Rated Car Award for 2026, marking the fourth time the automotive experts at Edmunds have honored the 11th-generation Civic with an Edmunds Top Rated honor. The Edmunds Test Team recognized the Civic hybrid for its sporty design, class-leading safety performance, excellent driving dynamics and fun-to-drive personality.
"A repeat winner of this award, the Honda Civic Hybrid offers a tremendous breadth of quality at a value price. Frugal, refined, comfortable and capable, it's a car without serious fault, whether you choose the sedan or the versatile hatchback," said Edmunds Editor-In-Chief Alistair Weaver.
Civic hybrid is powered by the award-winning fourth-generation of the Honda two-motor hybrid-electric powertrain. The ultra-smooth and responsive Honda two-motor hybrid system maximizes fuel-efficiency without compromising dynamic performance or passenger and cargo space to deliver a sportier and more pleasant driving experience.
The Edmunds Top Rated Awards recognize the best vehicles on sale and are based on extensive testing and ratings from the Edmunds Test Team. The Honda Civic and Accord have earned five Edmunds Top Rated Awards since the award's inception in 2020.
An unparalleled success, the award-winning 11th-generation Civic is a gateway to the Honda brand and America's most popular vehicle with Gen Z, first-time buyers and multicultural customers1. Honda Civic is America's best-selling compact car since 19732.
