Greater Omaha Chamber and City of Omaha Announce All In Omaha
Omaha, NE - The Greater Omaha Chamber and the City of Omaha are announcing All In Omaha, a joint initiative inviting employers to strengthen job opportunities, invest in career development, and help attract and retain talent. The initiative was announced at the Chamber's POWER Conference at CHI Health Center Omaha.
"Businesses grow when they have talented people who can help them seize new opportunities," said Paul West, Chair of the Greater Omaha Chamber Board of Directors. "Creating opportunities for people to advance strengthens our companies and gives them a reason to build their futures in Greater Omaha. All In Omaha asks every employer to help build the workforce our region needs to grow. That commitment is an investment in our people, our businesses, and our shared future."
"Omaha's future depends on people seeing the opportunity to build a good life here," said Mayor John Ewing Jr. "By working with our business community, we can help connect people with careers that allow them to grow and support their families. All In Omaha invites employers to take an active role in that work and help shape a city where people choose to stay and succeed."
Through a public acknowledgement, employers of every size will be invited to participate in three pillars: All Inon Jobs, All In on Careers and Development, and All In on Promoting Omaha. The Chamber and City will support their efforts with labor market information, talent programming, and recruitment materials, with recommended actions tailored to the size of each organization.
"The opportunities employers create help shape Greater Omaha's future," said Heath Mello, President & CEO of the Greater Omaha Chamber. "All In Omaha asks businesses to look local for growth, invest in their people, and take an active role in telling our region's story. The Chamber will support that work with practical resources that help employers grow their business and recruit, develop, and retain talent. Together with the City of Omaha and our committed champions, we will make a difference in building careers here."
Three Acknowledgements for Omaha Employers
All In Omaha connects the decisions employers make in hiring, employee development, and recruitment with the region's long-term growth. Businesses will take the acknowledgement and then put all three pillars into practice.
The three pillars include:
A Shared Commitment to Regional Growth
