Level up your chess game, no matter your skill! Make your move in exciting matches, pick up new strategies, and learn alongside peers ready to help you master the board. This program is led by a Teen Advisory Board member.
Note: Participants are encouraged to bring their own chess sets, but a limited number of chess sets are provided.

Considering homeschooling can be overwhelming! Every homeschool journey is different. This program focuses on steps to begin your journey. Librarian and former homeschooler Kate Guynn will cover basics, direct caregivers to resources, and provide a few hands-on activities.
Clash of the Cards
Wednesday, August 27 from 5 to 6:30 p.m.; for ages 12 to 18
Explore new ways to sharpen your skills with strategy-based card games such as Happy Little Dinosaurs, Exploding Kittens, and Magic: The Gathering! All experience levels are welcome. This program is led by a Teen Advisory Board member.
Note: Card games are provided, but participants are welcome to bring their own teen-rated strategic card games.
