What happens behind the scenes before an aircraft departs? Who are the people responsible for getting passengers to their destinations safely and on time? Beginning November 18, viewers across the Netherlands will get a unique look inside the world of KLM employees who help make the airline's operation possible. The new series KL24/7follows a variety of KLM colleagues as they go about their daily work.
The day-to-day operation of an airline is a complex collaboration involving thousands of people and countless processes. The series shows how colleagues deal with busy schedules, operational disruptions, and unexpected situations, while highlighting how every part of the operation works together to help passengers reach their destinations safely and on time.
In KL24/7, viewers follow employees working across a wide range of departments within the organization, including the airport platform, Engineering & Maintenance hangars, Cargo, the Animal Hotel, and the Ticket Office, as well as crews in the cockpit and cabin. Together, they form the links in an operation that runs around the clock.
To create the series, producers from Vincent TV Productions were given extensive access to the organization. As a result, viewers gain an authentic look at the people and craftsmanship behind KLM. The series shines a spotlight on employees who often remain invisible to passengers, yet play an essential role every day in maintaining a safe and reliable operation. It offers a rare behind-the-scenes look at a world most passengers never get to see.
KL24/7 premieres on November 18 and will air every Wednesday at 8:30 p.m. on RTL 5 and Videoland.
