Norton Rose Fulbright stands among the winners in the University of Chicago Law School’s law firm challenge

Norton Rose Fulbright is among the law firms that won a donation challenge from the University of Chicago Law School with 100 percent alumni participation.

The firm has a deep connection to the University of Chicago Law School, as Rufus Clarence (RC) Fulbright received his JD from the law school in 1909 before forming Fulbright and Crooker a decade later. The firm, which was renamed Fulbright and Jaworski many decades later, became Fulbright, Crooker and Freeman in 1924 when John Henry Freeman - another University of Chicago Law School graduate - joined.

The University of Chicago Law School's law firm challenge invites firms with five or more alumni from the university to compete for the highest percentage of alumni making a gift to the law school. The competition aims to strengthen alumni connections through events, volunteerism and fundraising. Norton Rose Fulbright received a perfect score in Group 4 (firms with 5-10 alumni).

The University of Chicago Law School alumni at the firm include Angelos Vlazakis (Brussels), Joseph Graham, Anne Rodgers (Houston), Bernd Bohr, Thomas Vita (London), Ben Hulse (Minneapolis), Patrick Dolan (New York), Benjamin Montanez (San Antonio) and Kaylee Yang (San Francisco).
