DALLAS - Dallas ISD is holding the 2026 STEM Expo at the Automobile Building in Fair Park from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Saturday, Feb. 14. As the largest STEM Expo in Texas, the event will offer a full day of free, family-friendly activities, featuring more than 100 interactive exhibits, hands-on career exploration opportunities, and free health screenings. Designed to spark curiosity and inspire future innovators, the expo brings together students, educators, and industry partners to showcase the exciting possibilities within STEM.

Students at Biomedical Preparatory at UT Southwestern continue a heartfelt tradition by creating Valentine's Day cards for patients at UT Southwestern. The annual initiative blends compassion and creativity together, allowing students to share messages of encouragement and warmth for those receiving care. By spreading kindness beyond the classroom, the effort has made a lasting impact - prompting thank-you notes from grateful patients in years past.

Dallas ISD offices, schools closed
All Dallas ISD offices and schools will be closed Monday, Feb. 16 in observance of Presidents' Day. Normal district operations will resume Tuesday, Feb. 17.
