Officer Transported to Hospital Following On-Duty Crash in the Kenton Neighborhood

An on-duty Portland Police Officer was transported to the hospital by ambulance for a precautionary evaluation following a collision between his police vehicle another vehicle.

On Saturday, October 11, 2025 at 3:37 p.m., a Portland Police Officer notified dispatch that he had been in a collision at North Schmeer Road and North Denver Avenue. Due to the deployment of his vehicle's airbags, the officer was transported to the hospital by ambulance, evaluated, and released. The other involved driver was not injured and declined transportation.
No arrests or citations. Both vehicles were towed. Case number 25-280284.
