Bridge work begins north of Cody at Heart Mountain Canal

Rehabilitation of the bridge over Heart Mountain Canal began this week just north of Cody on Wyoming Highway 120.

Wyoming 120 motorists should expect a single-lane closure with width restrictions and traffic delays of up to five minutes, according to Wyoming Department of Transportation resident engineer Kelly Erickson of Thermopolis.

Project scope of work includes bridge deck repairs, asphalt pavement milling, removal and replacement of asphalt pavement, a bridge deck overlay and membrane installation, and guardrail removal and installation at milepost 102.68.

Prime contractor for the project is Coldwater Group, Inc., of Pleasant View, Utah.
