Tallahassee man federally indicted for forty-six counts of fraud

Tallahassee, FL - Jonquaris Richardson of Tallahassee, Florida, has been indicted in federal court for 46 counts of false claims against the United States through fraudulent federal tax forms. John P. Heekin, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, announced the charges.

Richardson appeared for his arraignment in federal court before United States Magistrate Judge Martin A. Fitzpatrick in Tallahassee, Florida. Jury trial is scheduled for June 15, 2026, before District Court Judge Robert L. Hinkle.

If convicted, Richardson faces up to five years' imprisonment on each count.

The case is being investigated by the Internal Revenue Service-Criminal Investigation. The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Justin M. Keen.
