Mark Your Calendars and Get Ready for Fun: Eco-City Festival happening this Saturday, May 10!

Join the City of Alexandria for the 2025 Eco-City Festivalon Saturday, May 10th, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Ben Brenman Park, 4800 Brenman Park Dr, Alexandria, VA 22304. Eco-City Alexandria is a collaborative, strategic effort to achieve sustainability throughout the City of Alexandria.

The FREE event is for everyone, whether you're looking to spend the day with your family participating in engaging STEM activities or a resident committed to sustainability. Attendees will have the opportunity to:

• Test drive electric vehicles (EVs), e-bikes, and scooters, and ask EV owners your questions about switching to an EV
• Take home a tree seedling, hosted by the Alexandria Beautification Commission and the City's Urban Forestry team
• Make a bike-powered work of art with Bike Powered Events, and craft using up-cycled materials with UpCycle Creative Reuse Center
• Ask an expert about making energy efficiency upgrades to your home or installing EV chargers
• Learn more about the City's sustainability efforts and how to take part.
• Meet the Animal Welfare League of Alexandria and adoptable animals from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.!

Getting to the Eco-City Festival is easy with DASH, which is always FREE to ride.

Or roll to the festival on your bike or scooter. Bike Valet DMV will provide FREE bike, scooter, and stroller valet services at the event. Visit the bike valet for a courtesy E-Bike or scooter charge!
