On September 3rd, the Chinese Embassy in The Gambia invited overseas Chinese to jointly watch the Grand Military Parade in Commemoration of the 80th Anniversary of the Victory of the Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression And the World Anti-Fascist War.
Zhao Shangsen, the Chargé d'affaires ad interim, remarked that Chinese People's War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression made a decisive contribution to the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War, and Taiwan's return to China is an integral component of WWII victory and the postwar international order. He encouraged overseas Chinese in The Gambia to carry forward the great spirit of resisting aggression and make contributions to national rejuvenation and the friendship between China and The Gambia.
The guests watched the military parade together, and warm applause broke out at the scene many times. Seven representatives of overseas Chinese shared their feelings, expressing that they would remember history, work hard with determination, and contribute to the development of the motherland and the friendship between China and The Gambia.
