Cummins Investor Relations Announces Organizational Updates

We are excited to announce some important changes to the Investor Relations team at Cummins Inc. These updates reflect our commitment to business excellence. As our team continues to grow and evolve, we look forward to future engagements with our investors and stakeholders.

The current and new team members will collaborate during a transition period over the next quarter. Please do not hesitate to contact any member of the current Investor Relations team with your inquiries, or reach out to us via our group email at investor.relations@cummins.com. We are eager to engage with you, and previous IR team members will ensure that any communications they receive are forwarded to us. Additionally, we kindly request that you update your contact lists and email distribution lists to include the new team members and verify the current team members, so they receive your communications promptly.

Announcing Investor Relations Team Org. Changes:

  • Chris Clulow, current Vice President of Investor Relations, has been appointed Vice President - Global Operations Finance and Transformation, reporting to Bonnie Fetch, Exec. Vice President and President, Operations.
  • Nick Arens has been newly appointed Executive Director, Investor Relations and Business Analysis & Planning, reporting to Mark Smith, CFO.
  • David Heckman, IR Manager, has taken a new role with Cummins Engine Business effective March 15th.

We appreciate the contributions and dedication of both David and Chris over the past few years and are excited about their new role opportunities. Additionally, our team is thrilled to welcome Nick Arens in his new position.

Below, we have included updates and brief bios of our previous, new, and current team members to help you get acquainted.
Both Chris and Nick are eager to connect with you over the next quarter as we transition the team.

Chris has been appointed Vice President - Global Operations Finance and Transformation, reporting to Bonnie Fetch. In this role, Chris will provide finance leadership across the Operations portfolio of services and, working alongside Bonnie, will lead transformation efforts to identify cost-saving opportunities, improve efficiency and ensure financial practices support the overall strategic goals of Cummins and maintain quality and control in our financial processes. In his new role, Chris will continue to oversee risk management, functional excellence and capital expenditures.

Chris most recently served as Vice President - Investor Relations since March 2022 and will continue collaborating with Investor Relations through Q2 through Nick's transition to the IR team.

David is joining the Engine Business as a Financial Planning and Analysis Manager. In this role, David will be responsible for the key Engine Business planning, forecasting, and reporting processes, serve as a primary liaison with Central Corporate Finance, auditors, and other Corporate functions, and provide support for EBU leadership team in various areas.

David joined Investor Relations in July 2022 and transitioned to his new role in March.

Nick Arens has been appointed Executive Director, Investor Relations and Business Analysis & Planning, reporting to Mark Smith, CFO.

Formerly, Nick served as the Executive Director - Finance, Accelera and Components Strategy where he was responsible for all accounting practices, budgeting, financial controls and costs of the Accelera segment in addition to the development and execution of Accelera and Components segment strategies as part of the respective leadership teams.

Nick has been with Cummins for 13 years, joining in 2012 as a Manager in the Corporate Development group and focusing on the strategy and execution related to acquisitions, joint ventures, divestitures and restructurings. In 2017 Nick took a role in the Power Systems Business Unit (PSBU) Aftermarket business. While in PSBU, Nick led a portion of the Aftermarket business focused on service contracts while also leading the development of the first PSBU 'digital' product plan. In 2018, Nick had the opportunity to move into the Finance organization, becoming the Finance Director for the newly established Electrified Power business (now Accelera).

Prior to joining Cummins, Nick spent six years in consulting / advisory roles at Duff & Phelps in Chicago, IL (U.S.) as well as Blue & Co. in Indianapolis, IN (U.S.), with a specific focus on strategy, financial valuation and transaction structuring, primarily related to mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.

Nick also currently sits on Mark Smith's Executive Finance Leadership Team.

Colleen Koeberlein joined the investor relations team in October 2022, as Investor Relations Director. In this role, she is responsible for interactions with investors as well as engaging with the Business Analysis and Planning team for Cummins. Colleen joined Cummins in 2012, serving in various financial analysis, controller and reporting roles across the Distribution, Engine and Corporate segments.

In February of this year Colleen also expanded her role and accepted the position of Chief of Staff for Jen Rumsey, CEO.

Colin Curtis joined Investor Relations in August 2024 as an Investor Relations Senior Analyst. Colin began his career with Cummins as a finance intern and has been with Cummins since graduating college in 2020. Colin has held various analyst roles in Cummins including our Finance Development Program and Business Analysis & Planning.

Amanda joined Cummins 7yrs ago supporting our Finance Functional Excellence programs and Finance Development Program. Amanda joined Investor Relations as Chris Clulow's assistant in April 2022 and currently serves as the Executive Coordinator for the IR team.
