Online Debit/Credit Card Payments Restored

The City of Carrollton has transitioned to a new payment processor and restored online and phone credit/debit card payments for Utility Customer Service (UCS), Environmental Services, and Developmental Services customers.

The City will continue to suspend late fees and disconnections for non-payment until Wednesday, March 4.

AutoPay has resumed processing today, Thursday, February 26. Any AutoPay scheduled to run on a bill date between Friday, February 6 and Thursday, February 26 will proceed unless a customer chose to make a one-time manual payment during the outage. If a customer did not make a one-time manual payment, the autopay will run for the original February bill amount.

All payments made through a bank, such as ACH autopay and Bill Pay features, remained operational during the outage and continue to function properly.

The UCS counter at Carrollton City Hall is able to accept cash, credit/debit cards, and check payments.

The City of Carrollton is aware of a technical outage affecting the vendor managing online credit and debit card payments for UCS customers, as well as Environmental Services and Developmental Services customers who use CityServe. The vendor is still unable to process credit or debit card payments, but the City is working diligently to transition to a provider that will be able to restore these services.

All payments made automatically through the bank, such as ACH autopay and Bill Pay features, are still working properly.

Other payment options for UCS customers include kiosks that accept checks, cash, credit cards, and money orders:

• A drive-through kiosk located in the parking lot between City Hall and Municipal Court is available 24/7
• A walk-up kiosk is available at the Hebron & Josey Library, located in the outer lobby during Library operating hours.
