Representatives Congregate to Discuss Payer Issues at 25th Annual CAC-PIAC Meeting

The 25th Annual Joint National Contractor Advisory Committee and Private Insurance Advisory Committee Representatives (CAC-PIAC) will take place on Friday, November 14, in the Washington, DC area. CAC and PIAC representatives are vital advocates for the podiatric profession, helping address local and national reimbursement issues that critically impact patient access and provider success.

This year's agenda brings together top experts and policy leaders for timely education and lively discussion. Sessions will explore:

  • Medicare policy outlook for 2026 and beyond

  • Compliance and documentation best practices for skin substitutes

  • An insider discussion on building stronger relationships with Medicare Administrative Contractors and Contractor Medical Directors

  • Legislative and regulatory updates, including APMA's advocacy on therapeutic shoes and modifier trends

  • Skill-building workshops focused on helping CAC and PIAC representatives turn insights into actionable advocacy plans in their states

APMA is also excited to recognize the 25th anniversary of the CAC-PIAC program and celebrate the meaningful work our representatives do to advance parity and patient care.
