Treasury Seeks Public Input on the U.S. National Strategy for Financial Literacy
The U.S. Department of the Treasury (Treasury) is reminding the public to submit comments related to the Financial Literacy and Education Commission (FLEC)'s update to the U.S. National Strategy for Financial Literacy.

Chaired by the Secretary of the Treasury and composed of the heads of 23 federal agencies and the White House Domestic Policy Council, the FLEC is seeking feedback on national priority areas and best practices, including the use of Trump Accounts and other innovative investment vehicles to equip the next generation with the tools to safely save, invest, and secure their financial futures. The public comment period for Treasury's request for information closes on April 6, 2026.

The Great Investo comic books are developed by the Delaware Financial Education Alliance, the financial literacy initiative of the Delaware Bankers Association. Through storytelling, illustrations, and practical examples, these materials help students understand important lessons about saving, spending wisely, and setting financial goals.

Employee Benefits Security Administration (EBSA) Resources
EBSA manages the Employee Ownership Initiative, a new program that aims to promote employee ownership, increase workers' financial security, and enhance their participation in the workplace. Additionally, EBSA maintains the Retirement Savings Lost and Found Database, which serves as a centralized location to find lost or forgotten benefits and get information on how to obtain those funds. EBSA also offers a guide with practical tips on how to make sure Employee Retirement Income Security Act (ERISA)-covered retirement benefits are divided through a valid Qualified Domestic Relations Order.

2026 Survey of the States
Every two years, the Council for Economic Education conducts a comprehensive look into the state of K-12 economic and financial education in the United States, collecting data from all 50 states and the District of Columbia.
