What's Changing?

The current Export Reporting and Maintenance System (ESRMS) will shut down around midday on Monday, March 23, 2026.

ESRQS will go live on the afternoon of Thursday, March 26, 2026, for new data entry.

Exporters need to enter weekly data in ESRQS starting Thursday, March 26, 2026.

Data users are not required to login to ESRQS to access reports, the query system, and API.
What We're Doing to Ensure a Smooth Transition:

USDA will transfer exporters' current outstanding sales and exports data along with all historical data into ESRQS.

USDA has tested ESRQS to ensure reports in ESRQS match the old system.

USDA will share the URL for ESRQS prior to the March 26 deployment date.

Training and help are available through email, MS Teams, and recorded demos.
To ensure a smooth transition and successful reporting experience, please take the following steps:

Complete Data Entry in ESRMS
All data entry for week ending March 19, 2026, must be completed by 12:00 p.m. ET Monday, March 23, 2026.

Register for ESRQS (exporters only) If you have not yet registered, please schedule a meeting with the ESR Team ([email protected]) to complete your registration as soon as possible at the ESRQS test portal: https://stgapps.fas.usda.gov/esrqs/#/home.

Review Training Resources Access the ESRQS training videos available at https://apps.fas.usda.gov/ESRMS/media/ to familiarize yourself with the system's features and reporting requirements.

Practice Data Entry Use the practice environment within the portal at https://stgapps.fas.usda.gov/esrqs/#/home to enter sample data and become comfortable with the system before the official launch date.

Enter Data Early
The ESRQS portal will open for data entry on March 26, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. ET and will remain open until 12 p.m. ET on Tuesday, March 31. We recommend entering your data early so that you can contact our ESR Help Desk for assistance if you have any questions or issues.
