BRKZ Raises $31M Series B to Scale AI Building Materials Procurement in the GCC

Building materials account for a significant share of construction project costs, yet procurement remains highly fragmented, reliant on manual sourcing, negotiations, and disconnected logistics. Solving that requires a supplier network, sourcing infrastructure, as well as the software and data to manage pricing, quality, and logistics through a single relationship. BRKZ spent its first three years building this across Saudi Arabia.

  • BRKZ now serves more than 1,500 contracting companies and 150 building materials factories, with a network of approximately 2,100 suppliers combining local and international sourcing.
  • A proprietary dataset replaces manual estimates with an AI pricing engine, with 84-89% of its predictions falling within 5% of the final transacted price, grounding pricing and sourcing decisions in data.
  • AI agents run parts of the company's day-to-day operations, from delivery verification to payment-term decisions, with roughly three-quarters of delivery notes processed without manual override, freeing staff to focus on exceptions while retaining final oversight.
  • The company has kept up its growth pace through a year of significant regional and supply-chain disruption, with revenue on track to triple in 2026 after 2.5x growth in 2025, improving net take rate by almost 50% in six months.

Our Partnership with BRKZ

We led BRKZ's Series A in 2024, after staying close to the company for 1.5 years since its inception. The company aligns closely with our Construction Tech thesis, which mirrors the evolution we saw in PropTech a decade prior, where base-layer digital marketplaces became integral to an industry before enabling offshoots. Today, BRKZ is on track to become the construction operating system for the GCC.

About the Round

BRKZ has now secured $31 million in new capital. The Series B round was co-led by Wa'ed Ventures and 500 Global, with participation from BECO Capital and ANB Capital, alongside an $18 million growth debt commitment from Stride Ventures. The capital will advance BRKZ's AI capabilities across quotation, pricing, and fulfilment, deepen vertical integration across the supply chain from raw materials sourcing to last-mile delivery, and extend cross-border sourcing corridors with China, India, and other manufacturing markets.
