Austin Commercial Announces Rebecca Hupp as VP of Aviation

Dallas, TX - Austin Industries, announced today that Rebecca Hupp, A.A.E., has joined Austin Commercial as Vice President of Aviation.

Hupp brings nearly 30 years of leadership experience and a proven track record in aviation, business development, strategic growth, and organizational leadership. She most recently served more than 14 years as Boise Airport Director, where she led one of the country's fastest-growing airports through a period of transformative growth and modernization.

During her distinguished tenure, passenger traffic increased by 82% during the past decade, while she oversaw major initiatives to modernize and expand airport infrastructure. Hupp also played a key role in recruiting new air service, doubling the airport's number of nonstop destinations, and attracting private-sector investment which enhanced airport facilities and services. Known for her collaborative leadership style, Rebecca has built high-performing teams focused on employee engagement, continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence.

She recently served as Chair of the American Association of Airport Executives (2025-2026) and was named Idaho's Top CEO of Influence by the Idaho Business Review.
