Gov. Reynolds appoints Peter Gierut as District Associate Judge
Today, Governor Kim Reynolds announced her appointment of Peter Gierut as a district associate judge in Judicial District 7.
Gierut, of Davenport, Iowa, serves as a magistrate and is a partner at Gallagher, Millage & Gallagher, PLC. He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa and law degree from Drake University Law School.
Peter Gierut fills a vacancy created following the resignation of the Hon. Korie L. Talkington. Judicial District 7 includes Cedar, Clinton, Jackson, and Scott Counties.
