Erlanger hosted the 21st-annual Dinner of Distinction recently at the Westin Chattanooga. The dinner honored four outstanding physicians and community leaders, all a part of UT Health Science Center College of Medicine in Chattanooga, who have contributed to health care in the greater Chattanooga community.
Honored during the Erlanger Dinner of Distinction were, from left, Kelly Arnold, MD; Alvaro Valle, MD; James Haynes, MD, second from right, and Michael Carr, MD. All were honored for their commitment to improving the health of the community.The 2025 honorees included:
In addition to honoring individuals for their enduring commitment to improving the health of the community, the annual event recognizes them for demonstrating unquestionable character and human compassion. Additional criteria used to choose honorees include: a person who has contributed a lifetime of medical benefit to the community and a person committed to the healing mission and values of Erlanger.
