Endless Summer makes its Sounds of Lewisville debut

Endless Summer, the #1 Beach Boys Tribute in the Surfin' USA, will make its Sounds of Lewisville debut on Tuesday, May 26, in Wayne Ferguson Plaza, 150 W. Church Street.

Endless Summer is not just a tribute, but also a Beach Boys experience. They've taken the tribute band industry to a new level. Allan Conner (who has an uncanny resemblance, mannerisms and voice of Mike Love) and Earl Lemons have put together a stellar group of singers and musicians that faithfully reproduce the sights and sounds of the surf music craze. From the first notes of California Girls to the last notes of Kokomo, you know the beach party is about to start. Expect sing-a-longs, beach balls, and Frisbees to be flying as Endless Summer sings about surfing, hot rods and Surfer Girls.

Award-winning ukulele artist Jessica Maeve will be the opening act. Check out her performance of The Beatles classic, "While My Guitar Gently Weeps," from last year.

Concerts start at 7 p.m. every Tuesday night in May and June. Opening acts will perform 7-7:45 p.m., and headliners will perform 8-9:30 p.m. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and lawn chairs for their comfort. Well-behaved pets on a leash are allowed at the shows. Food and beverages will be available for purchase. Smoking and vaping are prohibited in Wayne Ferguson Plaza.

The award-winning Wayne Ferguson Plaza is a 1.5-acre urban park that takes on a contemporary sweeping gesture using water to link east to west and united Lewisville City Hall and Lewisville Grand Theater. It features an elevated stage, a multi-level seating area, an interactive splash pad and a garden filled with swathes of native grasses and wildflowers.

To reach the concert sites from Interstate 35E, take exit 452 and proceed east on Main Street to Charles Street. Lewisville Grand Theater will be on the left. Free public parking is available along Main and Charles streets, or at Lewisville City Hall.
