FREEHOLD, NJ - The Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners is excited to announce that Gary Gellman, a Howell resident, has been selected as the winner of the fourth annual Monmouth County Travel Guide cover photo contest.

"On behalf of the Monmouth County Board of County Commissioners, I am pleased to congratulate Gary Gellman on winning the 2026 Monmouth County Travel Guide cover photo contest with his stunning aerial image of the Sea Girt Lighthouse," said Commissioner Director Thomas A. Arnone, liaison to the Division of Tourism. "Gary's photograph beautifully highlights one of the many ways residents and visitors can experience Monmouth County's 53 miles of coastline with its three historic lighthouses."

Hundreds of photos were submitted by photographers from across the State for a chance to become the cover of this year's Travel Guide.

"I would like to thank everyone who entered this year's contest and I hope you will continue taking photos of our great County to submit next year," said Commissioner Director Arnone.

The Monmouth County Travel Guide, a valuable resource for both tourists and locals alike, will include Gellman's winning photograph along with other highlights of the County's countless attractions. To reserve your 2026 Travel Guide, visit MonmouthCountyTourism.com today.
