Reminder: Submit Your Poetry for the 12th Annual “DASHing Words in Motion” Contest
There's still time to be part of a beloved community tradition! The City of Alexandria's Office of the Arts and DASHinvite you to be part of a beloved community tradition: the 12th annual "DASHing Words in Motion" poetry contest.
Selected poems will appear inside DASH buses and trolleys throughout April for National Poetry Month, turning everyday rides into moments of creativity and inspiration for thousands of passengers.
For more than a decade, this program has uplifted local voices, celebrated poetry as an accessible art form, and brought unexpected beauty to our daily commutes.
