Southfield Mayor Dr. Kenson Siver will present the Key to the City to former resident, iconic actress, fashion figure and advocate Selma Blair on Friday, May 16 at 12 noon at the Yoga Moves Multiple Sclerosis (MS) Fundraiser Luncheon at the Westin Southfield-Detroit, 1500 Town Center.
Actress Selma Blair will host this fundraising luncheon to support Yoga Moves MS with special opportunities for guest to get photos with Ms. Blair as well as a signed copy of her memoir Mean Baby. Ticket prices will also include a plated lunch, beverages and dessert with all proceeds supporting the Yoga Moves 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. The Friends of the Southfield Public Arts will also host an Art & Vintage Fashion Show and fundraiser on Friday, May 16 from 7-9 p.m. at the former Skyline Club on the 28th floor of 2000 Town Center hosted by Ms. Blair. The fashion show will feature students from the Southfield A&T Dance Team who will model over 40 articles of vintage clothing from the 1940s through 1970s. Proceeds from this event will support the Friends of Southfield Public Arts, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to furthering public art projects throughout Southfield.
About Selma Blair
Selma James Blair is an iconic on-screen personality, fashion figure, and activist whose remarkable career spans several decades. Blair currently partners with skincare line ESK, serves as the face of Brooks Brothers' Icon campaign, collaborates with Mersea on a curated travel-essentials collection, serves on the Executive Committee of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, and is a collaborator with EMD Serono.
