Harvest in the east could generally be described as variable and slow-moving still at this point, especially the further north you get, as scattered rains the last couple weeks have helped keep activity from reaching full-go.
Looking at yields, the consensus seems to be corn yields are down 10-20% from last year, while soybean yields have been better-than-expected and are generally like last year, if not slightly better, in most areas. Producers have noted that fungicide-sprayed crops aren't seeing quite as big a yield hit and are also keeping moisture longer.
